Community Involvement
Kennett Center for Advanced Dentistry is committed to our community in more ways than just providing high-quality dental care. Our Kennett Square office participates in multiple community events to give back to the local area, including leading food and toy drives each year to benefit the Kennett Food Cupboard and Toys for Tots charities.
Meet Dr. Peter Patellis
DMD, FMIII, DICOI
Dr. Pete has been helping patients regain their smiles since receiving his doctor of dental medicine in 1989 from The University of Pittsburgh. Since starting Kennett Center for Advanced Dentistry, he has cultivated a community of caring professionals within the practice and long-term, satisfied patients.
To his peers within the industry, Dr. Pete is a highly-regarded educator and nationally-recognized leader in the field of CEREC and CAD-CAM Dentistry. As a current faculty member with The Resnik Implant Institute and a former faculty member at the University of Penn, School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Pete travels the country bringing his knowledge and expertise to other professionals. To his patients in Chester County, Dr. Pete is a compassionate dentist with a magnetic personality providing expert levels of quality general, family, restorative, and cosmetic dental care.
Dr. Pete’s commitment to community is due in large part to his family’s roots within southern Chester County. Along with his wife, Dr. Pete spends many hours outside of work connecting with other families and individuals, driving him to want better for his local communities. In their time off, the family of four likes to spend their days recharging at the beach and sailing together.
Meet Dr. Tamatha Bowes
BS, MS, DMD
Dr. Bowes received her Bachelor of Science from Villanova University and Master of Science from Drexel University prior to attending Temple University. In 2012, she graduated with high honors from Temple University’s Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry. Additionally, she was inducted into the Omnicron Kappa Upsilon National Honor Society.
In May of 2016, Dr. Tammy joined our family to further her commitment to providing patients with the highest level of care. Prior to joining Penn’s Commons, she practiced in suburban Philadelphia and taught Pediatric Dentistry as an adjunct faculty instructor at Temple University’s School of Dentistry.
Originally from the Lehigh Valley, Dr. Bowes currently resides in Kennett Square with her husband and daughters.
Dr. Tamatha S. Bowes is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Pennsylvania Dental Association, American Association of Women Dentists, and the Academy of General Dentists.
